I'm really listening to a lot of music lately. Maybe it's the influence of friends that does it. (good friends with good taste, that is)

Well, here I am again. After ... ONLY 5 MONTHS! heh.
What's going on with me nowadays? Well, in conclusion to my previous post; I got my results back from my final exam of my first year of Japanese. I don't wanna glout but... 98 PERCENT BABY!!! *does the Bender*
Oh yeah, talking about bending stuff. I'm almost done watching my DVD's of Futurama. Not that it's my first time watching the show (git outta heres!), BUT I actually discovered they NEVER aired the 5th season of the show in this ape-country. :/
Sheesh! Oh well, I guess I should be glad. These "new" episodes really make the wait for the NEW epidoses less painful. Still, how could this have ever been cancelled... ESPECIALLY after an amazing 5th season like that!
ya ya ya... what're you gonna do, except be happy with the renewal. *frolics around, and stabs FOX Network*

okay, enough jibber jabber from my part

Sometimes I wonder why I even have a LJ page. Not like I ever feel the need to say something, and if I do I usually use forums for that. Let's see if I can use this as a sort of diary then.

So, as you might conclude from the title of today's subject, I'm pretty sick. I went to Holland earlier this week with a friend to ... not sit at home and be bored. Actually all in all I regret going. First of all we had to cross this bridge to get to this department-store where they sell cheap as fuc dvd's (I got The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou for a mere 7 euros, WIN), which was a hellish experience. You dont want to do that on the coldest day of the year yet, wind all in your face. So as a result I'm stuck with a really bothersome cold. It's better now, at least more so than 2 days ago when I think I went on a delirious nonsense spouting rampage.

I really cant be bothered to do anything at all feeling like this. Scanlation work has come to a total stop; which is fairly good timing since I didn't have that much to do anyway. I don't feel like eating since it all tastes like snot, sheesh!
That reminds me, I'd better be fit enough to go to my Japanese class tomorrow. Need to get my results back from last week's test. I was getting pretty good vibes while making it, but knowing me there's bound to be some stupid errors.

I guess that's all for now.
I haven't done any noteworthy manga reading this past week. And as for anime, I'm quite enjoying Nodame Cantabile; which is somewhat expected. Noitamina pulled off a great feat by making me like shôjo/josei series through their adaptations of Parakiss and H&C. And Nodame looks like an excellent successor.
Thanks to Yoroshiku, I also got a quadruple dose of Kekkaishi. Which is always fun to watch; being adapted from one of my favorite (and THE most underrated) shônen manga. Though I have to say the animation quality really dropped after the first episode. Let's hope they're saving their budget up for the more important episodes later on.
Non-animated wise, the new Prison Break episode was f-ing brilliant yet again. It's like the tension never seems to fade away in the second season; which results in a truly HELLISH ride.
And now that we're on the subject of tv & film, I am going to try and get some rest so I can catch the late night "avant-premiere" of Rocky Balboa.
